BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Western Rural Development Center (WRDC) is guided by a regional Board of Directors to establish policies and program guidelines that align with regional priorities and are responsive to the evolving needs of the West. Board members are appointed by agInnovation-West and the Western Extension Directors Association (WEDA) organizations.
The Board includes the agInnovation-West Executive Director, the WEDA Executive Director, two members appointed by agInnovation-West and two members appointed by WEDA (one of whom will be from the host institution and will rotate between agInnovation-West and WEDA), and one representative from the 1994 institutions. Board members serve three-year terms, except for the 1994 representative and the agInnovation-West and WEDA directors who serve permanent appointments by virtue of position.
The WRDC is in the process of developing a new Board of Directors structure and identifying a new Technical Advisory Committee.
