EXPLORE DATA

Description:

The WR-Stat: Baseline Survey 2024 is a joint effort by the Western and North Central Rural Development Centers to gain a deeper understanding of life across the Western Region. This survey takes a closer look at how households, businesses, and communities are faring —from income, housing, and broadband access to entrepreneurship, caregiving, and civic engagement. It also explores timely issues like climate change perceptions and the recreation economy.

Conducted from June to August 2025, the survey reflects the diversity of the West’s rural and urban regions, capturing voices across ages, genders, and racial and ethnic groups.
